Register as a team captain: You will be designated captain and assigned roles to assure your team is complete and your teammates register and participate safely. You will choose your team name and request t-shirt colors for your team.

Register as a player on a team: You will need to know your "team name" as designated on your team captain's registration form in order to sign up. If you don't have a team to join, start one! Become a team captain of your own team.

The Stick it to Breast Cancer Field Hockey Tournament will be a series of 7v7 games. Two games will be played width-wise simultaneously on the turf stadium field at Hart Park.

THE GAMES: Games will consist of 2 10-minute halves and a 2-minute halftime during which teams will switch sides of the field. Number and times of games will be based on number of teams signed up. Schedule of games will be completed by Wednesday, July 22. *Officials will be assigned to specific games. There will be running time (clock will not stop for goals, penalties, etc).

THE TEAMS: Teams will consist of 8-10 players. No team will be allowed on the field with fewer than 8 or more than 10 members. 6 players and 1 goalie will be allowed on the field at one time during regulation play. There will not be designated goalies for teams. Goalies will be assigned to games (and teams) by the organizers. If a team desires to have a "coach", (s)he will be allowed to coach the team during time between games; coaches will not be on the field during play.

THE EQUIPMENT: Each player will wear a mouthguard, shinguards and appropriate athletic footwear and apparel at all times while in warm up or game play. Game balls will be provided, but if a team wishes to warm up in the break before its game, team captain or other player will need to provide field hockey balls.
